Two opportunities for climate involvement or action on the We Energies proposed liquid natural gas plant and pipeline in Milwaukee County are described below. Oak Creek Natural Gas Plants Informational Meeting:
March 20th (Thur), 6 pm, Oak Creek Community Center, 8580 S. Howell Ave. This informational community meeting provides information about We Energies proposal to build 5 natural gas units in Oak Creek. Action: attend and report back to the LWVMC.
Wisconsin Public Service Commission Hearings on We Energies Oak Creek Gas Plants and Liquid Natural Gas Plant:
March 25th, 1 and 6 pm (you choose time) Oak Creek Community Center Ballroom, 8580 South Howell Avenue - Attend in person or attend the hearing via Zoom , testify as an individual and report back to the LWVMC. LWVWI will testify at the 1 pm PSC hearing.
