Dear ~~first_name~~:
Please be advised the November 5 ballot will include a referendum to change the State of Wisconsin Constitution to add language to provide that "Only a United States citizen age 18 or older who is a resident" may vote in a national, state, or local office or statewide or local ballot measure election.
Currently, the constitution states that "Every United States citizen age 18 or older who is a resident of an election district" is a qualified voter.
The League of Women Voters of Wisconsin will be holding a webinar about this referendum and to explain the position of the Wisconsin League on Tuesday, September 17th at 7 pm (CT).

Please contact voterguideteam@lwvmilwaukee.org should you have any questions.
Thank you!
