Hello all,

We’re looking forward to connecting with folks on Saturday, 5/4/24, for our Conversational Approach training from 10am-12pm at the Summit Building (6737 W. Washington St., West Allis 53214; room 2212). We are lucky to have Tia Renier as our Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin workshop facilitator.
The workshop will start at 10 AM sharp, so we ask you to arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to the start.

Nikita Werner, one of our committee members, will be at the door to greet you, check you in and direct you to the workshop. If you are running late or your plans changed and you will not be able to attend, we ask you to contact her at 608-438-0527 so she does not wait longer than needed.

Women, and people across the gender spectrum, deserve the ability to make decisions about their own bodies. In this training we’ll take a closer look at how we operate as advocates and find better ways to connect with friends, family, or colleagues. This is also a great opportunity to learn from others’ experiences. I’ve attached a notes guide for those who learn best when taking notes, but there’s no need to print this or anything else ahead of time to participate in the training. We will use our full 2 hours so we ask that everyone join on time. In addition, we’ll be asking everyone to chime in, share their experience and there will be practice time so please come ready to join a discussion.
