LWVWI Voter Experience Survey

The League of Women Voters of Wisconsin and our Election Protection Coalition Partners are conducting a survey to learn from voters about their voting experiences during the August 13, 2024 election. Your response will help us learn about your voting experience and any challenges you encountered. Please complete this survey We will use this information to work with policy makers and make improvements to voting in Wisconsin. Coffee for our Cause – Coffee for a Strong Democracy starts on September 1.  

We need 15 more League members to fill the sales team. Each team member is asked to sell/buy 9 (12 oz.) bags of delicious coffee. Couldn’t be easier with the new vendor, East View Coffee Company! Sales and payments are all online with coffee shipped directly from East View. Sales team members are invited to a coffee tasting event on Monday, August 26 at the Summit Place, hosted by Jenny Ulbricht, owner of East View. There is still time to join the team and get to the coffee tasting and training on Monday. Sign-up hereQuestions?

Bublr Bike Station Ads

LWVMC partnered with Bublr Bikes at four of their bike stations on Milwaukee’s lower East Side and at UWM to promote voting. Aug 24th Forum Helps Homeowners Earn Green Rebates

Join the League of Women Voters Climate Action Group for "Maximize Your Home's Potential: Leveraging IRA Benefits for a Greener Wisconsin," an event to help homeowners take full advantage of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) to save money and fight climate change. 

Learn how to access up to $10,000 in rebates for home upgrades, including insulation, efficient heating systems, electric appliances, solar panels, and more, through programs like the Home Efficiency Rebate Program (HOMES) and the Home Electrification and Appliance Rebate Program (HEAR). We'll provide essential tools and guides, like the IRA Incentive Calculator, to help you plan and execute your home improvements effectively. The event will conclude with a collaborative discussion on sharing this valuable information within our communities, ensuring everyone can contribute to a sustainable future. Register HERE.
