League Cafe (the Milwaukee. Co. LWV book and general discussion group) will meet at the East Side Library, 2320 N. Cramer St. at 10:00 a.m. on Fri. February. 28.
This meeting is for general discussion and to possibly choose a book for May. We are discussing the book, “Valiant Vel: Vel Phillips and the Fight for Fairness and Equality” by Jerrianne Hayslett at our meeting on March 28.
April will again be a chance for general discussion and to choose a book for July. Discussions are always lively whether we’ve read a book or not, and it’s a good opportunity to get to know League members.
We are looking forward to seeing you on Friday, February 28th!
