Dear ~~first_name~~:
As you may already know, the Wisconsin State League of Women Voters is holding a celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the 1965 Voting Rights Act in Madison on August 6th.
Please note that Niki Johnson’s inspiring work, 4 Pillars of Democracy which many of us were lucky to see at the WI State League Annual Meeting in June, will be on display for the duration of the program!
GET A RIDE TO MADISON: To help League members and friends of the League, who are interested and able to participate in this special event, we have chartered a bus to take people to Madison. The event itself is free and includes a free lunch (as long as you register by July 30th) but there is a $34 charge to take the bus ride to Madison.
The bus will be leaving from the League Office in West Allis at 8 a.m. and will leave Madison at 5 p.m. You can reserve your seat here:
